(Summary description)On December 25, the National Medical Products Administration held a symposium of cosmetics industry associations to communicate face-to-face with the industry, jointly promote the smooth implementation of the "Regulations on the Supervision and Administration of Cosmetics" (hereinafter referred to as the "Regulations"), and jointly plan for the supervision of cosmetics in 2021. 　　The Cosmetics Supervision Department of the State Drug Administration introduced the key tasks of cosmetics supervision in 2020 such as the revision of the "Regulations" supporting documents, the construction of technical support systems, and the next step in cosmetics supervision. Representatives of industry associations put forward opinions and suggestions on the revision of the "Regulations" supporting documents and cosmetics supervision after the implementation of the "Regulations", fully affirming the State Drug Administration's efforts to persist in opening the door to legislation and promote cosmetics supervision to achieve social governance. Participants expressed that they will continue to maintain close communication with the State Food and Drug Administration, guide and urge cosmetics companies to actively implement the new requirements of regulations, better promote the development of the cosmetics industry, and continue to meet the people's growing demand for makeup.

　　Yan Jiangying said that the State Food and Drug Administration systematically planned the construction of cosmetics regulatory system and technical support system to meet the people's safe use of makeup as the fundamental orientation, and strive to build a new era of cosmetics regulatory system, and step by step to promote the "Regulations."
